When potential clients agree to a tasting, you should present them with the flavor options. Below are the quick descriptions of each flavor. You can skip the name & go right to the description if you sense the client is in a hurry, impatient or distracted,,,
Sea & Smoke Chocolate: Dark-style chocolate with pecans
Boozy Bee Vanilla: Bourbon-infused vanilla with a little honey swirl
Summer Camp Cookie: Our take on cookies ‘n cream with snickerdoodle-style and chocolate cookies in vanilla.
Cafecito Coffee & Biscuits: Espresso ice cream from real cold-brew, with cinnamon biscotti-style biscuits and chips
Peppermint & Brownies: Peppermint ice cream from real extract with brownies and hazelnuts
We — Selina and Ian (the founders) — are ice cream enthusiasts who love making it (and eating it!). But after an accident while we were hiking, Ian took a spill off a hill and was off his feet for almost a year! Doctors told him sugar was out during recovery. That meant no ice cream! A year without ice cream? No way! This inspired Cloud & Joy after Selina didn’t find anything in the ‘low calorie’ (and low sugar) freezer cabinet that spoke to our values and had that rich artisan taste. So when Ian recovered, we began developing our formula.
Heifer International:
Note — this isn’t something we need you to bring up. However, in case anyone mentions it (it’s on the package), we want you to be familiar with the cause Cloud & Joy supports with every pint. We donate about 5% to Heifer International. This organization provides livestock and environmentally sound agricultural training to improve the lives of those who struggle daily for reliable sources of food and income worldwide in 20 countries (including the United States). It’s name comes from their signature program that provides a milk cow to rural families that can serve as a basis not only for food security but as an economic base. They also give beehives, goats and chickens etc.
