MERCHANDISING GUIDELINES

Throughout the event, hopefully if all goes well people will be buying Cloud & Joy pints! This does mean that the display of the product on the shelf can become disorderly.  Also, when you get into the store, the product may have certain issues like icing that you will need to correct.  

Start of Event Merchandising:

  1.  Count the number of each flavor in the freezer case.

  2. Pull product as forward as possiblecatching products pushed to the back, toppled-over etc.

  3. All Packaging Facing Forward without “holes” in the display where possible

  4. Wipe ice off packaging. So the product looks new and appealing.


During the Event Merchandising:

When there are no customers or prospects approaching check the display and arrange product as forward on the freezer shelf as possible and facing forward. Do not keep the door open too long, as it will ice up and ice/frost will form on the packaging.

Event Wrap-Up Merchandising:

Before officially ending the event and checking-out with the store, you will do the following:

  1. Count the remaining products for each flavor and note the numbers

  2. Pull all remaining product forward, arranging them neatly facing forward with as few ‘holes’ in the display as possible.

  3. Align the products in their ‘slots’ or rows above the appropriate price tag facing forward.

  4. Wipe Remaining Ice off the product (especially the front items) to look appealing.

  5. Submit the info to Cloud & Joy using the Google Docs Form via the link.
