TASTING KIT
As part of your becoming an in-store demo brand ambassador, we’ll be sending you a kit. Please make sure you have filled-out your shipping address. It will likely be a box directly sent from Cloud & Joy, and a few items sent from either Amazon or Webstaurant to your door:
5 EMPTY PINT CONTAINERS & LIDS (1 EA. FLAVOR)
These will be used to set-up on the display surface to attract people + allow them to look at ingredients and for you to reference when describing the flavors. This is because pints with ice cream must be kept in a closed cooler.
ENAMEL PIN & INSULATED GLOVES
We have no uniform and our dress code is essentially ‘smart casual’ — so the enamel pin will allow you to proudly display company branding with any outfit. We also include gloves so you can handle the ice cream pints for merchandising without chapped or excessively cold hands, as well as insulating the pints from the heat of your hands and allowing you to brush excess ice from the package. *empty containers, pin and gloves sent in 1 box directly by Cloud & Joy
COOLER
Depending on the store setup, this will be either a foldable compact free-standing cooler or a table-top cooler bag in which the ice cream should be kept unless actively serving. The cooler will be chilled with…
FREEZABLE ICE FOAM PACKS
The amount you are sent depends on the type of cooler assigned. All of them are bagged freezing liquid with a foam center that you freeze 24-hours before using and should keep the ice cream chilled for up to 7 hours. *Cooler and ice packs sent separately via Webstaurant or Amazon.
SERVING SUPPLIES
Mini sample serving spoons + 1 box of serving gloves will be provided. Please let us know when you are running low for us to refill. Be conservative in their use while following food safety protocols. *Sent separately via Webstaurant or Amazon.
PROMOTIONAL GRAPHIC
This will likely be designed and sent later after we start upon you letting us know, measuring and/or photographing the nature of the setup at your particular demo store.
DRESS CODE
You are expected to dress in “smart casual” or “business casual” clothing. So…
Polo shirts, blouses or non-printed/non-logo tees ok (a small brand logo like nike etc. ok)
Slacks, skirts and jeans are ok. Shorts (cargo or short-shorts) are not.
Work shoes and boots, clean tennis/running shoes or closed toed loafers or pumps ok.

There are no color requirements. However, if you have clothes that happen to fit the purple/pink/teal/light blue color scheme of the company this is always welcome.
TIP: You may want to bring a sweater in case it is cold since some markets heavily cool/air-condition their stores 🥶 — particularly if you successfully post your tasting station near the freezer section!
